The project 'Organometallic and inorganic bioconjugates as potential enantioselective catalysts', led by returnee scientist Srećko Kirin, PhD from the Ruđer Bošković Institute, was awarded with 200.000,00 € by the 'Unity through Knowledge Fund' (UKF) for the period of two years. The call for project proposals for returnees of the expatriate scientists as well as for joint research projects of Croatian expatriate scientists and experts with their Croatian colleagues was launched within the UKF’s Research Cooperability Program. A total of 30 applications were submitted, of which 6 projects were granted support.
