Information for Visitors
Visitors are individuals who occasionally enter the Institute for meetings with staff members, to use the Institute's Library, to work on their thesis or doctoral research, to participate in seminars and similar scientific activities, to collaborate on joint projects, or for other business related to the scientific and other activities of the institute.
How to Get Here?
The RBI is located in the northern part of the city of Zagreb near the Mirogoj Cemetery at Bijenička cesta 54, 10000 Zagreb.
You can reach the RBI via bus lines 106, 201, 226, and 238.

Institute Entry Procedure
Electronic records are maintained at the gate for each visitor's registration and deregistration upon entering and exiting the Institute.
Visitors are required to:
- Present a personal ID or another photo identification document at the gate. The personal data collected in this manner will be used exclusively for the purpose of controlling entry/exit.
- Inform the security personnel which employee (or employees) they are there to see.
- Return their visitor badge upon leaving the Institute.
Vehicle Entry
If entering the Institute grounds by vehicle, after inputting scanned personal data of the driver and passengers, all individuals in the vehicle will be issued a visitor badge.
Visitors may park in designated visitor parking areas or proceed to their host within the Institute, adhering to the Institute's traffic regulations.
Group Visits
In the case of organized group visits, the group leader must notify the host employee at the Institute or the Public Relations Office in advance at pr@irb.hr
