The Division of Materials Chemistry is a Center of Excellence in materials science.

The scientific team of this Division makes a significant effort to contribute to the overall economic development of Croatia through its knowledge.
Its main research activities are funded by the Ministry of Science, Education and Sports.
There are also numerous activities in cooperation with various industries, hospitals, state institutions and faculties.
