Shimadzu student sponsorship

PhD student Zoran Kiralj is one of ten selected young participants at the scientific conference 34th International Symposium on Chromatography – ISC 2024, held in Liverpool in United Kingdom, from 6th to 10th October 2024, that were awarded with student sponsorship of the company Shimadzu. The sponsorship covered the cost of the conference fee.

According to official announcement at the web-page of the company Shimadzu, the winners were selected among "a great number of high-quality abstracts, showcasing the innovative research being conducted by students all over Europe".

The winners were the following:

• Alexandra Webb, University of Sheffield, United Kingdom

Zoran has participated with poster presentation under title "Distribution of selected technology-critical elements among cytosolic biomolecules in the northern pike liver analysed by SEC-HPLC-ICP-MS", presenting the selected results of the METABIOM project.
