Colour is a psychophysical property of lights and objects that exists only in relation to the visual system, meaning that the same pattern can be perceived differently by different observers. Since color change is crucial in many manufacturing process, including R&D analysis, quality control inspections, and process control procedures, it is necessary to eliminate the influence of observers to describe color. Colorimetry is the science of the measurement of colour, replacing subjective responses of colours with an objective numerical system. Colorimeters allow visual comparison of the color intensities of samples of known and unknown concentration.
Service
Color measurement using a colorimeter, as well as display of changes in CIELab (CIE - Commission Internationale de L'Eclairage, or the International Commission for the Regulation of Light) or some other color system.
Measuring instrument
Konica Minolta Spectrometer CM-2600d
The instrument is a handheld, portable measurement instrument designed to evaluate the color, relative gloss, and UV characteristics of samples very small to large in size, particularly with flat surfaces.
The instrument has the ability to measure color on two sample surface sizes: Φ 8 ili 3 mm.
A special feature of the instrument is the ability to turn on and off the measurement of surface gloss.
