Postdoctoral researcher Barbara Pem started her research stay at the Institute for Molecular Modeling and Simulation, BOKU University, Vienna, Austria on March 1st 2024, under the supervision of Dr Dražen Petrov, in the group of Prof Chris Oostenbrink. Barbara will work on the project "Computational alchemy of model biological membranes: free energy calculations towards enhanced sampling of mixed lipid systems", for which she won a 5-month scholarship grant of the Austrian Academiy of Sciences, under the Joint Excellence in Science and Humanities (JESH) programme. She also received the RBI grant for supporting the initial expenses of postdoctoral research (MZ3) funded by the NextGenEU programme. The research stay is planned to finish on February 28th 2025.
