LBPMM focuses on multidisciplinary research of biomacromolecular systems, namely protein structure, dynamic properties and function as well as their role in biological pathways. In cooperation with LBIS, we study the nucleic acid complexes with small (organic) molecules. It is important to stress the LBPMM role in dipeptidyl peptidase III (DPP III) research. We have a long tradition of scientific research of protein biochemistry. Through the education of young scientists we have gathered expertise in numerous experimental and computational biochemistry (biophysics) methods,  which is reflected in the complementary scientific profiles of our members.
