Geometry and Quantum Fields from Noncommutative Landscape

We aim at constructing a quantum theory of fields on space-time emerging from an underlying noncommutative algebra of “pre-coordinates”. To achieve this goal we will combine expertise and results from two approaches. One approach utilises the field theory framework using the star-product to encode noncommutativity, while the matrix-model based approach starts from specific models which govern such noncommutative algebras and provide a geometrical interpretation.
