The Muse Cell Analyzer uses miniaturized fluorescent detection and microcapillary technology to deliver truly accurate, precise, quantitative cell analysis compared to other methods. Laser-based fluorescence detection of each cell event can evaluate up to 3 cellular parameters – cell size (forward scatter) and 2 colors (detected in the red and/or yellow channels). Sample collection, acquisition, and analysis of results is achieved in just a few steps. It uses specific kits by the Luminex company to detect various cell parameters such as: viability, proliferation, cell cycle, apoptosis, autophagy, mitopotential, oxidative stress, DNA damage, CD4+ and CD8+ cells, and activation of several specific signaling pathways (EGFR, RTK, MAPK, PI3K, BCL2).
