Mobility program - outgoing mobility of assistants
Principal investigator
The assistant's doctoral research is based on studying the structure of light atomic nuclei, especially neutron-rich nuclei from beryllium to oxygen. She is a member of a group that has been studying the structure of the atomic nucleus for many years, and there are learned and established techniques for sorting and analyzing data. Mentor-host, with whom the assistant applies for professional training, developed algorithms and applied algorithms for fast and efficient data analysis, which is essential for the preliminary study and initial evaluation of the experiment proposed for doctoral research.
The proposed mentor-host is himself engaged in studying the structure of light atomic nuclei and is experienced in data processing for nuclear physics. This project is designed as an initial and fundamental visit where the assistant will have the opportunity to intensively learn data analysis and machine learning techniques in nuclear physics. In addition, it will be the beginning of cooperation in the introduction of modern methods in nuclear physics in Croatia, which will continue after returning from this mobility program.
