SUPERFOOD – Microalgae to Innovative Bakery Products and Pasta of the Operational Programme Competitiveness and Cohesion

The main goal of the project is the implementation of research and
development of new innovative bakery products and pasta enriched with
microalgae fractions and extracts, and the development of the
microalgae biomass cultivation process in the company GRAD HRANE
d.o.o. The purpose of the project is the development of these new
innovative bakery products and pasta enriched with microalgae as
products with nutrients and medicinal properties. This will contribute
to a healthier nutritional product full of vitamins, minerals,
proteins, dietary fibers and amino acids. The result of the project
will be the opening of a new segment in business (transition of
production to healthy food) and the growth of the company, because new
jobs will be created, the conditions for the development of new
processes and products will be improved, and through the transfer of
knowledge to the economy, the intensity of cooperation between science
and the economy will be strengthened in the priority S3 areas.
