CRO GRID

There are many applications whose demands for computing power exceed the resources of the largest computer centers. For these applications, computer grids offer the promise of access to increased computational capacity through the simultaneous and synchronized use of geographically separated, but large networked computers. With this technique, the " size" of the applications can be extended beyond the resources available in a particular place or to any individual computing world . Our project will develop a web portal ( ie. interactive interface) for Grid access to resources for the scientific and engineering simulation and modelling. This task will focus on development of various toolsets and user interfaces for scientific applications and databases. The set of applications considered includes biomolecular simulations, CAE simulations (computer-aided engineering), structural analysis and so on. Applications will be reviewed  with scalar, vector and parallel approach.
