Modificirana sol-gel metoda sinteze kompleksnih kvaternarnih metalnih oksida koji sadrže volfram s netrivijalnim magnetskim ili/i električnim svojstvima
Complex metal oxides are interesting materials due to their rich variety of fundamental properties, ranging from ferromagnetism to ferroelectricity, from high magnetoresistance to half-metallicity and particularly multiferroicity and magnetoelectricity. The proposed research project deals with the preparation, thorough structural analysis, and physico-chemical characterization of W-based complex quaternary metal oxides with particular ferroic or multiferroic properties. The desired compounds will be prepared using modified Pechini-based route, previously developed in our laboratory for Te-containing compounds. The project itself comprises detailed studies of peculiarities of the chemical composition, atomic and magnetic structures, structural phase transitions, physico-chemical properties,
and their interrelationships. Synergic cooperation between Croatian and Austrian partners will enable successful design and study of complex quaternary oxides containing tungsten.
