EMBO workshop on research integrity
One of the main objectives of EMBO (European Molecular Biological Organization ) is to contribute to building an optimal research environment by supporting talented researchers, promoting scientific exchange, and advancing policies for a world-class European research environment.
This includes an environment where scientists can work in compliance with the highest scientific and ethical standards. To this end, EMBO is organizing a one-day course "EMBO Workshop on research integrity" on 20 October 2022 at the IRB.
The course is primarily aimed at postdoctoral researchers and young group leaders. These researchers will either soon start their own research group as independent researchers or have just done so and are thus directly responsible for the research conducted in their laboratories.
Participation in this course would benefit them not only as individuals but also as members of their research groups.
The course is free and limited to 20-30 participants. Please register at ugarkov@irb.hr.
The EMBO workshops on research integrity are organised in institutes in EMBC Member States, in close collaboration with a local EMBO Member. They are one day long and targeted at young PIs and senior post-docs of the host institutes. The workshops are interactive and include discussion of scenarios. To allow active participation, the maximum number of participants is 30.
