To tackle regional inequalities in research and innovation, the preservation of the Adriatic Sea is embraced as a means to promote collaboration among researchers and bridge the gap between research and maritime industries. The BRIGANTINE project aims to develop an autonomous monitoring vessel for enhancing data fusion in monitoring processes. This entails sharing cross-border expertise through joint research activities, developing solutions, and fostering ties with small businesses in shipbuilding open to cooperation and technology. Ultimately, the project also seeks to contribute to assessing and introducing solutions for the health of seaweed populations.
