Laboratory research is focused on the application of computer methods and artificial intelligence to large sets of biological, biochemical and medical data, with a special focus on comparative and regulatory genomics and application to model organisms (protists, invertebrates and vertebrates) and human disease models. In addition to computer skills, laboratory members possess significant knowledge and skills in experimental methods of functional genomics.
