Cooperation between 'Jozef Štefan' and 'Ruđer'
The RBI Director General Danica Ramljak, DVM, PhD, and her team today visited the Jozef Štefan Institute (JSI), where they met with the Director General professor Jadran Lenčarić, PhD, and his associates. The purpose of this meeting was to examine the ways and means of strengthening the ongoing fruitful cooperation between the two institutes pursuant to the existing bilateral agreement on scientific and technological cooperation between the governments of the Republic of Croatia and the Republic of Slovenia. With this aim in view, the two teams have agreed to meet with their expert teams again in September.
Besides the ongoing cooperation on science and research projects and planned joint applications for EU funds, the representatives of the two leading scientific and research institutions have agreed to launch the experts exchange program with the aim to promote the exchange of experience, knowledge and skills between young researchers. They have also agreed to meet with their expert teams in particular scientific fields again in September in order to form scientific groups which will work on projects of mutual interest.
After the meeting RBI Director and her team visited JSI laboratories and the Centre for Electronic Microscopy.
