Meeting on Computational Solutions in the Life Sciences to be held in Primošten
The 3rd Adriatic Meeting on Computational Solutions in the Life Sciences will be held in the period of 1 - 5 September in Primosten, Šibenik. The Meeting is organized by the RBI scientists, gathered in the Centre for Computational Solutions in the Life Sciences at RBI- Sanja Tomić, PhD, David Smith, PhD, Darko Babić, PhD, Nađa Došlić, PhD, and Kristian Vlahovičeka, PhD, and supported by the Croatian Ministry of Science, Education and Sports, European Science Foundation and Croatian Academy of Science and Art. The main goal of the meeting is to help scientists from South Eastern Europe interested in the computational treatment of biological systems to learn about the latest advances in the field and to exchange ideas.
This meeting should provide young scientists with an overview of computational solutions in the life sciences, and give them oportunity to present their own results. In the stimulating and friendly atmosphere they will be able to discuss their scientific problems and to decide which methods to use in their own research. We hope the meeting will trigger new activities in the field of computational biology in this region of Europe as well as new collaborations between scientists from South Eastern Europe and European Union countries.
