The Success of the Croatian-Hungarian Bilateral Cooperation Between RBI and MFA (KFKI)
RBI scientists Stjepan Lugomer, PhD and Aleksandar Maksimović, PhD from the Laboratory of Molecular Physics of the Division of Material Physics, in cooperation with their Hungarian colleagues from the Research Institute for Technical Physics and Materials science (MFA) at the Hungarian Academy of Sciences published the valuable scientific paper on Nanostructuring of a silicon surface by laser redeposition of Si vapor in the prestigious Journal of Applied Physics. In their paper scientists experimentally and theoretically explained the process of forming silicon nanoparticles with IC laser method of redeposition Si-steam.
This scientific paper has provoked a great interest in Japan, Germany (Lazer Zentrum Hanover)and the United States. Prof. David Ruzić, PhD, the Director of International Union for Vacuum Science, Technique and Applications (IUVSTA) has shown particular interest because of the possibility of its application in the experiments at IUVSTA.
