Durability study of bronze protection for outdoor application
Principal investigator
The project aims to develop and evaluate three new types of environmentally friendly coating systems for protecting bare and patinated bronze under harsh atmospheric conditions. The results obtained will allow for an assessment of how gamma radiation affects the crosslinking of the studied new coatings. A comparative study of the selected coatings will reveal which system is most suitable for bronze protection in specific environmental conditions, which is an important step toward their potential application in conservation practices.
